About the time you were about to make that last turn around the corner to get to the walkway to the Conference Center, you could feel the coldness of the outside air creeping up on you.One of a couple of shots while going through the Hallway of Doom, where the majority of the panels were, on the way from the hotel proper to the Conference Center/Parking building. | About the time you were about to make that last turn around the corner to get to the walkway to the Conference Center, you could feel the coldness of the outside air creeping up on you. |
A Chobits group, with Chii~, a larger-than-life Sumono (with larger than life 3.5" disk), and our very own Aoshi_Shinomori as Hideki Motosuwa in his Yorokonde work uniform. | For some reason or another, Aoshi was always getting hassled for not having his name badge visible when getting off the elevator on the Conference center level. I guess you can't fault con staff for doing their job. (Another great non-flash pic ^_^;) |
Saturday morning, and we're dropping off my rental car, and connecting to their handy satellite broadband (yeah, right) PC while waiting for ride back to hotel. This was the Chrysler Concorde I rented. I'm glad I did, for the trunk space alone. Miaka and Aoshi had more stuff than I had, mostly costumes. | The mighty HP inkjet printer for Mapquest maps and such. Actually, you had a full internet connection, so we could check Cosplay.com, email, and such. Only thing that sucked was the ink cartridge was just about spent on Thursday, when I NEEDED maps printed out. Grrr... |

Trust me, these guys have been at this with a lot more style than I have, and my nonexistent hat goes off to all of them for their dedication!
Note: Be careful, folks - Last I heard, Fan's View got knocked off the net temporarily by the demand... Pace yourselves, please!
